SUNDAY, February 21, 2010

DeRamus will read an excerpt from her latest book,
Freedom by Any Means,
at 2 p.m. at the downtown library
 in Lansing, Michigan,
401 S. Capitol Avenue
as part of African-American Read-In Day.

WEDNESDAY, March 17, 2010

 The author will discuss
 African Americans Paths to Freedom
at 8 p.m. at the University of Virginia Bookstore,
400 Emmet Street S.,
Charlottesville, VA.

SUNDAY, March 21, 2010

 The author will participate in the
Michigan Reading Association's 54th Annual Conference
in downtown Detroit's Cobo Center,
attending an author/illustrator breakfast at 8 a.m.
and leading a workshop from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m.
on "Using Michigan's Forgotten Heroes and Heroines in Your Writing and Teaching."
From 2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m.,
she will sign copies of her books.
